Coville Assisted Living and Memory Care Community
The Margot and Warren Coville Assisted Living and Memory Care Community provides a warm and home-like environment, rich with tradition and culture. Coville is located on floors 2, 3 and 4 of the Prentis Apartments on the A. Alfred Taubman Jewish Community Campus in Oak Park. Coville provides an inviting community where residents enjoy a wide range of recreational, social and cultural activities.
The second floor of this distinctive space holds Coville's Memory Care Unit, designed with additional supports and programming to enrich the lives of older adults with dementia and related conditions.
Coville’s unique design organizes 12 private suites on each floor around a central hub, consisting of a living room, kitchen and dining room/multi-purpose room. I have more than 20 years of experience working with older adults. Prior to my position as Administrator of Coville, I worked for 10 years as the Program Coordinator of the JSL Fleischman Residence/Blumberg Plaza as well as the Coordinator of JSL Activity Professionals. Prior to working with older adults I worked in education, where I created educational programs for both traditional and non-traditional students. That skill set has been beneficial in providing in-service training for Coville staff. Along with my colleagues, I work every day to improve the quality of life for the older adults we serve by meeting their social, spiritual and physical needs.

I have been a nurse for more than 40 years. I did the majority of my clinical training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. I have extensive nursing home experience as a charge nurse, as well as in hospitals and long-term care facilities. I also worked as an insurance review nurse. Prior to coming to Coville I was working on the JSL West Bloomfield campus as a weekend nursing supervisor and I was also teaching Certified Nursing Assistants at Career Advancement in Healthcare Institute. I have enjoyed my 7 years working in assisted living the most and I adore being a part of our residents’ everyday lives, helping them maintain their independence. I enjoy reading, playing games on the computer, swimming, traveling and spending time with my family.

Resident Service Coordinator
I recently graduated from the University of Michigan’s Jewish Communal Leadership Program, where I earned a Master of Social Work with a focus on aging. During the program, I was a Geriatric Care Management intern at Jewish Family Service of Metro Detroit, where I connected older adults with a variety of resources to improve the quality of their lives. I am passionate about finding ways for the Jewish community to enrich the lives of older adults. I also enjoy book club and exploring my downtown Detroit neighborhood.
Memory Care Activity Coordinator
I am the Program Coordinator for the Memory Care Floor at the Margot and Warren Coville Assisted Living Apartments in Oak Park, MI. I’m currently attending Wayne State University studying social work, and will be graduating with my MSW. I have more than 13 years of experience teaching pre-school, and am passionate about my work. I enjoy creating and implementing meaningful and exciting programs for residents. My goal is for each resident to feel empowered, successful, happy and safe. I’m the proud mom of five children, ages 6 through 13, and enjoy early morning kickboxing class.
I feel fortunate to have been a part of Jewish Senior Life for the past 8 years and in my current role at Coville for the last 2 years. I love working with the Coville residents by keeping them mentally and physically active and engaged. I am constantly amazed by the residents and am always learning something new from their knowledge and experiences. I’m married with two children. When I’m not working I enjoy Zumba, following General Hospital on television, and enjoying University of Michigan football afternoons in Ann Arbor.
