Art of Jewish Caregiving

The Art of Jewish Caregiving is a unique program designed to educate health care professionals and caregivers about the diversity of Jewish culture, customs, rituals and traditions. To truly enhance healing and well-being at a critical time in a person’s life, a caregiver must touch a person’s spirit and soul. To do so requires respect, understanding and education.

The topics addressed include:

  • The Diversity of Jewish Culture
  • The Jewish Sabbath
  • Jewish Holidays
  • Jewish Dietary Needs
  • Jewish Customs and Traditions Related to Death and Dying
  • Nourishing the Jewish Soul
