Located on the third floor of the Fleischman Residence, a licensed Home for the Aged, the Dorothy & Peter Brown Memory Care Pavilion was developed for older adults with memory impairments and/or dementia-related disorders. This self-contained, residential dementia specific unit provides residents with social, recreational and nursing supports around-the-clock. The residents enjoy living in the specially designed Pavilion with its family-style dining room and intimate activity kitchen, recreational and activity space, lounges and secure outdoor balcony.
A fully equipped Kosher kitchen, large screen television, library & media room, electric fireplace, aviary, fresh water aquarium, piano and more enhance life at the Brown Memory Care Pavilion. Specially trained professional staff and support services for the Pavilion meet the individual needs of the residents. Our staff and volunteers have been trained in the Art of Jewish Caregiving and are under the direction of an RN who supervises all personal care staff.
Also provided is a centrally located bathing spa area, laundry facility and the Pavilion’s own place of worship. Residents may participate in the Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish Community Adult Day Care Program connected to the facility.
