There are many ways you can help ensure the future of Jewish Senior Life and the important work of supporting older adults. Endowments provide ongoing financial support for JSL residents who are unable to provide for their own care. Establish an endowment with an initial gift of $10,000 or more. Additional contributions may be made in increments of $1,000 or more.
Acts of Loving Kindness (Gemilut Chasadim Fund)
Provides ongoing financial support for residents unable to provide for their own care. Gifts of all denominations are appreciated. A gift of $1,000 or more will be recognized with a personally inscribed garden brick.
Donor restricted funds allow you to decide specifically where your gift goes. Donor funds may be established with a gift of $5,000 or more. To establish a donor fund, or to give to an existing fund, click here.
JSL Benevolent Fund
A gift to this fund will allow us to meet the immediate needs of residents unable to fund on their own items such as dental or optical care and adaptive equipment.
Art & Soul Project
A gift of $1,000 or more will be used to enhance artwork within the Fleischman Residence/Blumberg Plaza. In recognition of your gift, a personalized tile will be added to the Art &amp; Soul donor wall
Family Giving Program
A gift of $1,800 or more is recognized with family naming opportunities on the glass donor wall located in the Blumberg Plaza.
Tree of Life
A gift of $5,000 or more will be used to enrich ongoing programs and services. In recognition of your gift, a personalized leaf will be added to the Tree of Life located in the Blumberg Plaza.
Gifts by Will, Life-Income Gifts or Gifts of Retirement-Plan Benefits may provide you with significant tax savings and the pleasure of knowing your gift will support JSL’s mission for years to come.
DreamWeavers is a unique program supported by the Foundation of Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit. By granting older adults their wish or dream, they realize a dream come true. Through DreamWeavers, older adults can feel positive and young at heart and continue to feel a sense of connection within a community. It is gives older adults the opportunity to feel special and experience a life-changing moment.
